Die Isola dei Pescatori<\/strong> (deutsch: Fischerinsel), auch bekannt als Superiore<\/strong> (deutsch: Obere Insel), ist die kleinste der Borrom\u00e4ischen Inseln und die einzige der Inselgruppe im Lago Maggiore<\/strong>, die durchg\u00e4ngig bewohnt wurde.<\/p>

Die Isola Pescatori<\/strong> ist die einzige Insel im Golf von Verbania, die nie im Besitz der Familie Borromeo gewesen ist. Vor siebenhundert Jahren war hier noch ein kleines Fischerdorf, aber mit Beginn des \u201eWirtschaftswunders\u201d zwischen den 50er- und 70er-Jahren hat sie sich in eine Touristenattraktion verwandelt: Tags\u00fcber wird sie von Tausenden von Touristen bev\u00f6lkert, am Abend hingegegen verbleiben hier weniger als 50 Personen, welche dauerhaft auf der Insel leben.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Die kleine Ortschaft auf der Isola Pescatori<\/strong> ist durch einen kleinen Platz und enge Gassen um ihn herum gekennzeichnet, entlang welcher die Geb\u00e4ude in mehreren Etagen emporsprie\u00dfen, um den knappen Raum so gut wie m\u00f6glich zu nutzen. Fast alle Wohnh\u00e4user besitzen lange Balkone, die damals dazu genutzt wurden, um Fisch zu trocknen. Die herrliche Kirche des San Vittore geht auf das 11. Jahrhundert zur\u00fcck und ist reich mit Fresken aus dem 16. Jahrhundert ausgestattet. Sie ist das Ziel vieler Paare, die sich vor der traumhaften Kulisse dieses einzigartigen Ortes das Jawort geben wollen.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Mitte August findet die traditionelle Prozession der beleuchteten Fischerboote statt, bei der eine Marienstatue in einem Boot um die Insel herum gefahren wird. Zum Karneval wird entlang des Ufers eine gro\u00dfe Tafel errichtet, an der sich die Bewohner zusammenfinden, um Polenta mit einem guten Glas Wein zu verkosten. Am Vorabend des Dreik\u00f6nigstages verpflichteten sich die Kinder dazu, die \u201eBefana\u201d mit \u201eCarga Vegia\u201d aufzuwecken: Sie laufen \u00fcber die Insel und ziehen an einem Seil Dosen, T\u00f6pfe, Deckel und alles, was L\u00e4rm macht, hinter sich her.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
